The Burton Mine77 Mens Step On Cartel X EST Binding takes the fan favourite Cartel and knocks it up a notch (Bam!) to create the latest and greatest in binding tech, the Cartel X EST. Fully upgraded with a stiffer baseplate and designed for the Burton Step On system, you can guarantee a better responding binding and smoother ride. For legendary performance with premium response and a buttery smooth ride, the Cartel X should be your go-to.

Base Plate:

Cartel X EST Step On

The Cartel X EST baseplate features a dual-component construction, comprised of a 45% short-glass/nylon composite baseplate and a 30% short-glass/nylon composite spar. This gives you a responsive yet playful ride that is stiffer edge to edge for improved balance. This EST-specific baseplate removes therigid material under your foot and replaces it with a flexible cushioned footbed, reducing the weight of the binding, increasing board feel, and maintaining the natural flex of the board.

The Step On boot to binding system uses two points of connection by the toe and one in the heel. The Toe Hook 2.0 system offers easier entry and exit from the system along with a more comfortable and enjoyable ride.

Unique to EST bindings, The Hinge activates medial and lateral flex for a smoother feel and easier ollies, whileallowing the board to flex more naturally and reducing stress and fatigue on your legs.

This zero-lean canted design follows the contours of your legs to maximise control and comfort, while the Living Hinge built into the highback provides independent forward lean and highback rotation options while still reducing weight and materials, and works in conjunction with the Burton DialFLAD so you can easily dial in your desired forward lean.
