The 2023JonesMeteorite Surf Series take everything you love from the Jones’ Meteorite binding and makes updates to a 3 degree canted footbed and the Power Spine Ankle Strap for better board feel, less pressure on your knees and lower legs, and added turn response. The Meteorite Surf Series is the perfect medium flexing binding for any Jones rider who wants a stable, comfortable ride without the over-the-top stiffness. You get a more user friendly movement from the Meteorite thanks to its dynamic flex of being stiff in the centre of the highback and softer to the sides for manoeuvrability and tweakable fun. Increased board feel and control thanks toSkate Tech technology, you will transfer energy from edge-to-edge easier and the Flip It Ankle Straps provides even more ways to customise your riding style, from a more aggressive, responsive option to a surfier feel, all depending on what riding style you are feeling on the day.

Base Plate: Skate Tech w/ Hanger 2.0

While regular bindings lose energy while the baseplate flexes, the Skate Tech design pivots from the centre of the binding and focuses all of your energy on the edge of the board, so your feet can stay more relaxed while still getting maximum edge hold and control.

The Meteorite hanger is nylon reinforced with 30% fibreglass, combined with a Nylon and recycled carbon post and a 50% glass filled nylon disc for added strength and stiffness with reduced weight.

High Back:DynamicFlex Highback

TheDynamic Flex Highback provides an asymmetrical shape with small lateral wings for increased toe side turn power. Stiffer in the centre and softer along the edges provides solid turning with the elimination of calf bite.

Theseall-new bulletproof asymmetrical buckles feature upgraded levers, springs, and a triple action ratchet design to increase entry and release speed.

Straps: Power Spine Ankle Strap+ 3DFlex Fit Toe Straps

The Power Spine Ankle Strap are a brand new, two-part molded strap with a wider bottom section for flexible comfort and a stiffer center spine for unmatched response.While the toe strap has been redesigned for max comfort, durability and response.

FREERIDE MODE

Position the wide half of the strap above the buckle for more lateral support and board response. Use Hard Bushings for maximum board response.

SURF MODE

Position the wide half of the strap below the buckle for solid heel support but more ankle flexibility for getting loose. Use Soft Bushings for a looser, more dynamic surf feel.

Cushioning: Bushings

The Apollo comes with bushings that sit under the 4 binding contact points in your toe and heel. These diffuse board chatter, maintain board to binding contact, and dampen your overall ride. These Bushings snap out for easily customisable dampening and response.
